Longsan Veneer Co., Ltd. was established in 1970 as a joint venture with MTC of Italy, and became a wholly owned subsidiary of the Santi Forestry Group in 1982.
Longsan manufactures veneer which, as well as supplying Sun Wood Industries and Sun Cabinet, is sold to businesses both in Europe and North America. The majority of production uses teak wood although others such as oak, beech, ash and maple are used to supply the domestic and export markets. The veneer is produced in a standard length of 2,500mm and a thickness of .55mm, 1mm, 1.4mm or 2.5mm - although special requirements can also be accommodated - comes in crown, half crown and quarter cuts and is finished in both flitch and spliced lay-on. Longsan's reputation in the industry is the result of quality and continuity of supply.
