SWI & MONRE Plantation Project

SWI & MONRE Plantation Project
National Park, Wildlife and Plant Conservation Department, Ministry of National Resources and Environment (MONRE), Thailand initiated the Sustainable Plantation Project since 1994 with these objectives : Increase the natural forest area up to 5 million rai, to mark the celebration of 50th anniversary accession to the throne of HM the King and to acknowledge Thai people the importance of natural resources and conservation ways. This project is divided into 3 phases. SWI joined the 3rd phase (2003) and continue until present that it planted 10 rai every year. So far, SWI's executives and employees have planted for 20 rai (around 4 acres)
